Charlie in Napa
A Different (and Very Excellent) Way to Spend a Saturday Afternoon

'Stick With Me'

In the midst of a heavy-duty perseveration episode in which Charlie said 'Berkeley' at least once every minute for over 2 hours last night, I said 'Mom and Dad and Charlie stick together! We stick with you.'

'Stick with me,' said Charlie before starting up another round of "Berkeley' (referring not exactly to My Favorite City Along with Thessaloniki but the ride he and Jim take daily past Gilman Street and down to the bay by Emeryville). I think it's the first time Charlie has ever, on his own and unprompted (and in my hearing), not reversed the pronoun.

This is cool! Love your blogs. Best to all of you.
