On the cusp of Charlie entering 14th Grade

Long story, but I would never have been able to put together the above without -- you guessed it -- 19 long and good years of raising, teaching (trying to, that is) and trying to think through things for our boy.

Having said which -- Charlie being down to the final week of what must be his 18th round of Extended School Year and on the verge of starting what I'll call Grade 14--I am feeling intensely grateful to all his teachers, aides, therapists, van drivers and all of the staff who undertake the daily rounds of teaching him to learn and be.
